But to make it worse? NY has a brutal schedule from here on out (unlike last year).

5.5 games back of the 6th seed Nets?
4.0 games back of the Play-In 8th seed Raptors?

Right now we're the 10th worst record in the league and only 5.5 games from the Pacers for 5th worst record in the league.

Even if we got lucky by the random ping pong balls and ended up with the #1 overall pick you know what stinks? This entire draft class stinks. That's who. So F tanking too.

Trading our 2nd 1st rd pick for Reddish was a good move. We locked in some talent there

Now we just have to trade our own 1st rd pick to dump that stiff Randle in the next 7 days and we’re good. j/knot really

We definitely have a roster and a cap problem though. I’m sure Rose is kicking tires fix the roster and cap

This makes me feel better.

Rose starting when he comes back might solve a lot of problems. The bench has looked strong enough without him.

I think Thibs feels like he wasn't playing Knox so what's the rush to play Cam. Those garden chants aren't helping anyone. I don't think Randle is effected by crowds as much as the ****ty crowds at the garden. As much as we overreact to every loss, could anyone imagine booing at a game? Knicks have the worst fans in the league.

Makes some sense. Other teams have taken two steps forward, we only took one. Though there seems to be less parity among team records this year.

I don't remember players being booed from just having a bad shooting night but giving their all on the defensive end. The Knicks fans cheered for a team led by lou admunson and Alexey shved. Bad we can understand, no effort we hate and it deserves booing.

Knicks fans expect wins, especially this season. As the poster points out, we have almost the same record this year but fans are calling it a fail. Not easy playing in those circumstances. Have you ever seen Indiana or Milwaukee booing? It's not a fan thing. It's a sense of entitlement.

I agree with Shinmen. The crowd boos when they don’t see maximum effort. As a Knick fan, I can deal with the team losing. What we can’t deal with is the team not giving maximum effort trying to win. The Grizzlies game was a prime example. It was clear that the Grizzlies were better but the Knicks fought hard and gave maximum effort throughout and I don’t recall hearing any boos against our team (fans did boo the refs).

A Bit of both I reckon. Frustration from losing perhaps but effort matters. Gave vs. Grizz was a good contest.

A nice 16-2 or 18-6 run repeating not so ancient history would fix everything nicely. Especially with the Nits in a free fall...
