![]() Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: Dropping an f-bomb at the ref. I didn’t like it at the time. But you know what? I think I like this RJ. Oh good lord... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkmGrX7O0lQ

![]() iM starting to find Grayson Allen new thuggery kind of cool. Kid has beefed up and he ****ed up Caruso who is no angel himself.
I have look at that play and its not as dirty as it looked at first. That its allen made it worse. If it was Oak, we’d be selling t-shirt with it. The whiney bitch has grown up to to be a kind of badass. |

![]() F— that ref. Refs are f—-big up a lot this year. Barrett should have got a call there. That’s the kind of basketball they should want people playing. Getting into the paint and trying to finish at the hoop. Refs failing to make that call supports the 3 pt contest.
You know I gonna spin wit it

I imagine that the Refs are probably being told not to call an over-abundance of fouls because it slows the game down for the bing-bong generation. Only problem with that is the recent smacks across the face and elbows to the jaws and intentional grabbing of arms that are not being called in the paint. Getting ridiculous and will end poorly (i.e. with a brawl) if the NBA does not make moves to correct. |

![]() Just to be clear. I love the response from RJ in the clip. He made a statement (that he’s tired of this bull****) and then continued playing with fire, and no sulking.
I think the end result will be more respect for RJ from the refs in the future. Oh good lord... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkmGrX7O0lQ

![]() Losing your temper happens to everyone so no biggie. I just hope this doesn't become a habit. Last thing we need is another crybaby like Randle arguing and pestering the zebras all game. It's amazing to me how Thibs allow this to continue. Randle should be banned from even looking at the officials the wrong way. Either adapt to how they are calling the game or STFU.

Perhaps RJ is "playing the game" and the gesture of apology pays dividends for him in the future with the zebras, regardless of its validity or sincerity. Contrast it with the effectiveness of Randle's approach. With whatever objectivity I may be able to muster as a Knick fan, it's my feeling we have regularly gotten screwed by the officials and now that games have some meaning it particularly hurts. But I'm guessing that going to war with them isn't the most beneficial approach even if justified. |

![]() RJ is letting his inner animal out. Its ok. Its good for him.
Nothing wrong with Apologizing if its genuine. once the game is over players that were barking hug it out. Respect. RJ game is talking and now he wants to be seen. Its all good here. at the same time Julius I hope is eating a little crow and getting back to what makes him great. His physicality will draw contact but he needs to stay focused. Easy to say as a fan, right? “Julius needs to this…..Julius needs to that……>Thibs needs to call him out, Blah blah”. Julius knows what he needs to do, but execution is easy to spell and harder to do. Jules contract is not massive and not a burdan. Jules is adapting to what is changing and not doing a great job of it. RJ is taking the reigns and transition is not always smooth. Is it an ego bruise? Is it mearly recognizing what was expected and executing the leadership to the 21 year old. Forget what we think, its not all that. RJ is like a puppy learning to bark and it commands respect. Thibs and the staff have to see it thru. |

Although it did take LeQ 15 years to get tossed out of game for using the f word at a ref. And I'd love to know what league magic Harden used to build his career... You don't have to be a Knicks fan to know we've been getting screwed by the refs royally since the Melo days. You just need eyeballs. More and more I get the sense that we are looking at the next huge ref betting scandal in the next few years. There's just too much money on the tables now for some little dork making 6 figures a year not to cash in every now and then. If we had a ref scandal when sports gambling was "illegal", what the hell are we going to have now that 8 billion people have access to place bets 24 hours a day from wherever they are? |
