Ja has some amazing highlights the last few days and no doubt gullible impressionable revisionist hindsight think they know better fan ask a leading question to debate what you want to say any way.
Your under the impression Memphis would eventually have to cave with an “offer can’t refuse” but your looking at this 2.5 years after the fact, and that Memphis was interested in a reasonable offer.
You don’t post this stuff when Ja is injured do you?
Your actually not unreasonable to insist Randle not be the primary ball handler and agree we should have drafted Haliburton. But I can’t speak for Knicks as to why or what they think OBI’s top end could be. Obi’s long range shooting has taken a drop since college. It does not translate. Fox’s career 3pt shooting is low 30% range. He is two year more experienced than RJ and has a max deal. Fox stats are not get. Im not sure you do that deal.
Maybe I go with Haliburton and Bagley for Obi, IQ, mitch and a protected first rounder like the Charlotte pick. I let KEnny Payne decide on Bagley. Im thinking he can play some C and PF for us.
As for Fox? I’m not sold on his performance to date but what he can become. If there is an upside that a steady Thibs/Byrant influence can have on him then the chaos that has been at Sac then Im open.
Im not giving up on 21 year old RJ.
