Does anyone remember when johan Santana pitched a no hitter for the Mets? Was a great day but he was never the same again.
If we want to survive the next 8-10 weeks without Rose— we have to keep Kemba ok. That means playing
Less than 30 min and not playing back to back. We have to have faith in iq and McBride. Same with Julius since this is the Avenue/- have more faith in Toppin. DO NOT over play Randle
The strength of the team is depth in a thin weak league.

Lastly Grimes please take a few mid range or go to the hoop.Every play can’t be a three

The challenge with nursing guys like Kemba is they need to feel their way into games and lose their rhythm if they don’t get their minutes and/or skip games.

It also puts the rest of the team in disarray with players in and out of the lineup.

But if you can hold out for 10 games, it's like a factory reset.

It’s settled. Play Kemba every 10 games.

Kemba shouldn't have played tonight as it clearly shows he physically can't on back to back but with Rose out and Fournier out tonight, he kind of had no choice. But IQ and Deuce should have been able to handle this game.

I to want Kemba Walker energized and fresh come playoff basketball. Postseason play is where Kemba is made for.

I don't agree with not playing him on back to backs. That could cause him to lose chemistry amongst his teammates. But on back to backs I'd say no more than 15-17 minutes of play.

And yes. Even on non back to backs it could be a good idea to play Deuce more often but on nights where Kemba is exploding? Ride his wave. Can't wait to get Derrick Rose back because come playoff time we'll need Rose 20/Kemba 20 and Deuce 12. But no way can we keep Deuce out of the PG rotation. Deuce McBride is who could end up keeping BOTH Kemba/Rose healthy moving forward.

Kemba was already looking washed yesterday against Minny. It really sucks for him. You know he wants to play and Thibs doesn’t let up with the minutes. It’s all or nothing with him.

I have pretty bad eyesight but I was in the stands behind home plate for maybe the best pro game experience I ever had. Yes that was a no hitter and I still have the stubs to the Game!!

Agree. I’m a hooper and I’m much older than Kemba. But from around his age or mid 30s, I stopped playing back to back. And that’s in rec leagues and pickup. Kemba is my height or smaller playing against 6’4 young dudes every day. He shouldn’t play back to backs this season and should be on a playoff schedule to make sure he’s fresh come playoff time. He’s a pro so I’m not worried about his chemistry. He will be fine. Let him rest and let the yoots run the show.
