I can not wait until his return.

During his last 3 games before covid protocol against @ San Antonio, @ Indiana and @ Toronto (all 3 away road games) he combined for...

70 points.
13 rebounds.
6 assists.
21/48 FG.
12/19 from 3!

R.J. was playing some of his most aggressive and best basketball before becoming sidelined and with the emergence of our two Rookie kids RJs game should be fun to watch develop moving forward.

With a mixture of...

Deuce McBride (PG).

Immanuel Quickley (PG/SG).

Quentin Grimes (SG/SF).

R.J. Barrett (SF/SG).

We've got 4 really young Guards/SFs and I truly can't wait to see them all healthy while rotating with one another.

Not having RJ tonight against Boston is going to hurt. He did an amazing job on Tatum in the season opener.

He has not taken that success further in his 3rd year.

I can't argue with someone who refuses the statistics.

And sure he's young, not everyone continously gets better. I get it.

But Darius Garland has gotten better each season.

Now that's a leap.
