Players that can keep the Knicks good for multi years

DO NOT trade them. You have to see this I know you’re not dumb. Even mitch playing with the younger guys. Played like all star

Weed out older players. Stay course drafting and developing

If Derrick Rose for nothing trade. Of course but otherwise see what ya got!! We have it. Just be patient

Knicks have a nice young core but badly need one of them to establish themselves as a blue chipper.

Love your mention of Mitchell Robinson. Some seem to forget he's still only 23 years of age and guess who else is 23 years old? Jericho Sims. Mitchell Robinson is younger than some realize.

And imo it's crazy how quicky fans have forgotten how bad we all missed Mitchell Robinson vs. Atlanta (as Clint Capela destroyed us).

Mitchell Robinson.
R.J. Barrett.
Obi Toppin.
Immanuel Quickley.
Deuce McBride.
Quentin Grimes.

I really get fired up for all 6 of these young guns and because of all of this youth it makes me appreciate JULIUS RANDLE so much more; Julius Randle takes the pressure off of these kids.

I agree about keeping these younger talents together long term because 3 years from today when Mitchell Robinson is only 26 and everyone else under 25 as well? It's going to become FUN and with a lot of team CHEMISTRY too (something we're currently lacking; but not for long).

Mitchell Robinson missed the end of last season along with the playoffs, due to injury.

That same injury kept him sidelined and forced him to miss his entire offseason too.

SO OF COURSE HIS STAMINA AND CONDITIONING HASN'T BEEN 100% HERE IN 2021 THUS FAR

However @ Houston...

30 Minutes.
17 Points (off 8/8 100% from the field).
9 Rebounds.
3 blocks.
1 steal.
0 Turnovers.
+21 (GAME HIGH).

We're now 29 games in and I've always said to give Robinson 30 games of getting back into playing shape (both physically and mentally) and we'd begin to see a young 23 year old Center with All-Star abilities.

I'm a big time fan of Mitchell Robinson and I can't wait to see more of this Giant moving forward.

Trading players unless no brainer unnecessary

My man Mitch. I’m biased with Mitch because I met him a few times and would love for him to have a long knick career. Not only is he young age wise, he’s young experience wise. He never played college and was very raw outta HS. So now that we are 3 or 4 yrs in, you can see his impact growing. Mitch game is dependent on a quality PG. put Mitch on Atlanta and he might be one of the best bigs in the league. So it just depends on how he’s being used. My worry for Mitch is off the field and during the summer breaks. Gaining weight sounded good until u realize Mitch game is all about being agile and quick jumping. Can’t do that at a heavy weight. So Mitch is still learning how to be a pro and what’s his ideal weight. I wouldn’t be upset if we traded him for turner or a player that can help us. But be prepared to see Mitch dominate and improve over the next few years. Especially if we trade him.

In the past the Knicks was terrible with player development. I think grimes and Duece being ready to play is a good sign and a reflection on the coaching staff. Duece gave props to the coaching staff in his post game interview. So I’m sure they see what we see. I just hope the FO make the right decision and not just any decision. We don’t need to trade if the right trade isn’t there. Buy out Kemba and keep it moving. If that’s all we do, I’m good with that. We not winning a chip this year with this roster so either trade them all and bring us championship players (not likely to happen) or leave the roster alone and let the young guns gain some nba experience. Imagine how Duece will look after having games like yesterday under his belt. Him and grimes confidence must be going through the roof right now. Proud of all of our draft picks and young guns in IQ and Obi. This the best time I’ve seen a knick team with so much promise now and in the future. Plus we have all of our picks. Nobody should be complaining especially the old school knick fans who been through worst.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Good point about Randle. He’s still the guy who takes the pressure and attention off of the youth, as well as Drose.

Not necessarily. You can win in today’s nba with an ensemble cast

The key is to stay competitive and make the playoffs every year until a superstar finally grows a pair and decides to come here. Maybe Ja in a couple years

Yes that’s another path. But you need a way to get that superstar here. It will require trading some of that core.

Eventually yes. A superstar will want to come here at some point similar to Melo in 2010. We have to resist overpaying however because I like our young assets that we have now way more than the young assets we had back then
