I don’t know or understand your post. But that’s typical at this point so I’ll keep it moving and say this.

I love the FO's patience and how they elevated/extend him right after the trade. We dont have the firecracker that IQ was but Grimes/McBride/Hart is a good bench mod and should help keep the starter minutes down

Most of the time, Eddy Curry was not even a one-way player.
The only way you can say he was a 2 way player is if you count 1 way to the DL and the other way to Krispy Kreme.

Made the most of the start tonight: 7 for 10, 19pts, 6 RB, 5 assists, a steal and a block.

As the President of the Deuce Hive.

THE DEUCE WAS LOOSE

We would’ve lost last nights game if it wasn’t for DEUCE. Put some respect on his name.

Yes we need a floor general or Brogdon type off the bench, sure. But McBride has a place in this rotation and glad to see Thibs use him wisely.

I would also use this time to send a public apology to COY Thibs. His development of the YOOTS while creating a winning culture is very very difficult to do, especially in the media hungry NYC environment. Cheers to coach Thibs for doing an outstanding job. He’s a keeper and Taj will be his newest coaching member to Thibs staff.

Can’t say enough about this guy. Never complains. His mins was up and down his entire career. And he still comes in and plays his role. Great role player to have on any team. He’s a young Marcus Smart.

yeah man... I was literally watching McBride last night and was hoping you were watching. Dude is playing great. Not much of a PG but he can score and defend and does NOT shy away from any moment.

As for Thibs it's just been amazing. Nothing but modern analytics on offense and taking care of the ball. On defense he's a 90s menace and this is one of the most enjoyable teams to watch.

I would say "we are hear and just need to stay healthy" but apparently that doesnt matter either!

Can't add Brogdon without eliminating Deuces mins. Only way to keep him in the rotation would be the land a 3/4 that can shot create and distribute.

depends on if Grimes goes in the trade. Brogdon becomes backup PG and McBride backs up SG

IM constantly reminded by the Interview Macri did with his assistance coach at West virginia after he was drafted. Coach complimented his family, the kid, and his work ethic. He really had emerged in second half of sophmore season and though was if he stayed another year he’d go first round. I Duece made the choice and understood he’d sit for 2 years and learn and grow but better to do it at this level than in college. Granted, lots of players say this and fail. We only here saying this today because he is succeeding. The ups and downs, the inconsistency is all part of development. Obviously the defensive chops were and that kept him the apple in the coaches eye.

If he has another gear to go we don’t have to bring in Brogdon (who gets hurt often). Also, if need be his level of play and on a rather modest contract he becomes a big trade chip.

He is becoming what we had hoped Frankie would have been.

Teams make mistakes all the time but the good ones get to count successes. Our two Allstars this year!! Both Free agent signings. Not over the hill starphuchs but young up and comers who got stuck for reasons well documented. Shout out to Steve Mills and scott Perry for Randle, and of course the CAA family for Jalen! Funny that of all the CAA conspiracies we have read about this was the one!

Lets get Grimes back on the developement bandwagon, make a run to ECF’s and then let Leon, Gerson, and Aller all have fun this summer!

I'm guessing that the Knicks are waiting on a Lowry buyout but will still look to move Grimes for a bigger fish.

Perfect for McBride can also be perfect to engage "after morning coffee" time

As the President of the Deuce Hive, you know this perfectly well. I'm guessing

I will give you all a peek at something else I spend a crap load of time on: I watch and scout volleyball players, mostly beach volleyball and mostly on the women's side of things, because... reasons And not the stalkery reasons you dirty dogs are thinking about, although the fit ladies in bikini's make it very easy to focus on body movements. Juniors to D1 and then I skip to particular level of pro.

I don't know diddly about basketball body mechanics, just fundamental volleyball stuff.

McBride's shooting mechanics look very different to me this year compared to last compared to the year before. His shot is less loopy. But my meds are always kicked in so maybe it's just me that's loopy.

The way McBride squares up to the hoop before he shoots seems high level to me but realistically I don't know. Strong and perfectly executed and formed.

Does anyone else see this or is it just me?

Credit to Thibs and the player development coach Dice for getting Deuce ready and he's hitting it out of the park! I don't think we trade IQ without knowing and being confident that Deuce can play and replace at least some of what he brought.
