Can't imagine starting any NBA draft thread without this guy. Not explosive but really fluid. Can't imagine him falling out the top 3.

Hawkins almost cost Uconn the game against Auburn with that unforced turnover. With that said, Hawkins is a good shooter but I need to see more...

Yeah. He’ll be at UConn 2-3 years but he’s a first rd pick type. Had to get this thread started😸

Holmgren, Banchero and Jabari Smith are the 3 best players I've seen so far....

Uptown I watched jabari smith vs UConn 100% real deal. Legit 6-10 with good handle too
Outside chance at number 1 pick

I watched the same game. Was really impressed with his ability to shoot and dribble at his size. Depending on the team, I wouldn't be shocked if he went number 1. I haven't had a chance to watch Emoni Bates outside of a few highlights, but I suspect he will be top 5 at seasons end.

I don’t think Bates can go in this draft

You're right..He cant enter until 2022 because he will be 18 by the end of 2022.

Chet a true unicorn that teams love. Got that thing where skinny body is fluid, can shoot and the only thing we need to know is the Genetics.
We need to draft a superstar. Pronto.

Interesting case because after a year, he can still stay in college and make money, go to the G-League and make money, or go overseas.

Might as well not even focus on the top 5 prospects and start looking into sleeper picks.

Because the Knicks will finish with a top 10 NBA record this year (currently 11th best and only 2.0 games out of the NBAs 4th best record).

Only question is where do you play them. Chet is too skinny to be a NBA center and Paolo is too slow right now to be an NBA forward. Hopefully Chet fills outs and Paolo tightens up.

I don't watch any college ball at all but from the highlights it seems like Paolo moves deliberately ala RJ but he does have that extra gear when he wants to.

And Chet will prob be as skinny as KP when he got to league?

Explosiveness is something's scouts questioned about Paolo since high school. Chet is tough and fights inside, but he's still weak. Some people suggest he could play the three, but I don't know.

I don’t know what to say, but I just don’t believe in players like Holmgren. Somehow they look like someone who won’t be able to adjust to the NBA. But that’s pretty irrelevant from our perspective anyway because I believe we’re going to pick around 20th pick again.
