And he should absolutely average above 15 ppg. He was the guy brought in to bring the offense to another level and I’d like to see Thibs make a concerted effort to get him the shot volume he’s used to. Other than maybe Toppin, Fournier has the shortest leash on the team. Fournier should be given the benefit of the doubt as the 2nd scoring option on the team at this point. Toppin on the other hand has absolutely earned more minutes alongside Randle for this ability to put pressure on the rim and the defense, but that’s a story for another day.

I think in order for this team to be successful it has to be a team effort, not a 1st option or 2nd option scorer.

If they share the ball, take good shots and go with the hot hand every so often we should be a very good team.

The team needs to play like the 2004 Piston squad that had (Sheed 13.7 ppg, Prince 10.3 ppg, Rip 17.6 ppg , and Billups 17 ppg) in their starting line up.

Now if only mitch can be our Ben Wallace we would really really be good

He did and I thought part of the overall good play was the players out there in the fourth.

You had Fournier, IQ, Burks, Obi & Noel. They were all over the place on the defensive end, and there was great motion on the offensive end.

Agreed. Sometimes I wonder if a 10 man rotation is too big, as scorers can’t always get into a rhythm.

Teams ask their bench players to come in and immediately bring the energy and produce. I think that should be the expectation for the starters too.

Against Lakers, Randle came with the energy; he and the others can do it and that should be the expectation.
