ESPN radio is also saying that he has been bought out...

This could mean that Isiah is looking to add someone to the roster.

He was bought out the day he signed that contract dude is so wack it ain't funny.

Utah signed Eisley so maybe they bring Shandumb back too.

I think Eddie Robinson will be on the roster soon guys.....

I wanted them to use his expiring contract in 2 years instead of waiving him, but I guess they'll still have plenty of other expiring contracts and maybe Isiah can add a valuable player.

Yea Bonn I see what your saying, but Shandon clearly didn't want to be here and we clearly didn't want him to be here. I don't think he would've been able to stick it out for another 2 years here. I think buying out Shandon was the right move to make.

I wonder how Isiah will fill this roster spot. I think his plan is to go after as many young athletic guys as possible and some will work out great while others won't. That's why he pursued Eddie Griffin, DerMarr Johnson, Trevor Ariza, and Lamizana, and might pursue E-Rob or Haslip

What I wish we bring in to replace Shandon is some NBDL Center who has been playing overseas geting his skillz together. We need another big man to send Baker to IR.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Good, now the Knicks can go to the Finals because Anderson is off the roster.

I really didn't think it made much of a difference if he was on or off. He wasn't playing at all, so didn't see any harm. On that note I guess it opens a roster spot for someone else

NEW YORK (AP) -- Forward Shandon Anderson was waived Wednesday by the New York Knicks, who tried repeatedly to trade him.

The 6-foot-6 Anderson, starting his fourth year with the team, appeared in one game this season and went scoreless with one rebound in 20 minutes. The 8-year veteran, acquired from Houston in August 2001, never averaged more than 8.7 points in his time with the Knicks.

Anderson is owed $24 million over the next three seasons.

Yeah...everyone knew Shandon was done, but I still don't know why you spend $20M just for a roster space. Is ERob that valuable?
