Golden States is looking into moving DD, last time I checked he was a hoster and a banger inside. He doesn't have great skill, but he is a defensive force. At 6'11" he has shot blocking qualities that we can use in our front court. Why not look into dealing for this cat. Report has it that he has an expiring contract, but 10 million is a hefty price. Can someone please tell me how we can get this guy out here? We can use his expiring contract after all, but GS is not that dumb to just get rid of him just like that.

this is another option for TT. TT for DD and Cliff Robinson. I would like uncle Cliff alot as he's a tough defender and a good shooter. He can also play the 5 in the East. Both have expiring deals, and GS is just bad, so who knows about them. 3mm might help the deal get done. We would have to waive Shandon to make room on the roster, then when H20 comes back your looking at waiving Moochie. Thats a lot of contracts to just send off into the sunset but call it the Layden purge.

A deal like this would give us nice options at the deadline and I think it helps us immediatly. We are too small and weak. Both Cliff and DD are better than anything we have at the 5.

and they are both good role players. Isiah may be looking at this deal. However, GS is looking to trim their payroll.

He does have an expiring contract:

TT may be glued to the bench soon if he isn't traded.

If you do this trade, it's solely to get expiring contracts. TT's in a 3 game slump, but he's still a better player than DD or Cliff. DD's like 35 or 38 years old by now, isn't he?

GS had zero interest in TT when the Dampier trade was being discussed...i have a hard time believing they'd suddenly changed their minds about him now that TT has played like a 6'10" version of Shandon Anderson so far this season.

why do teams want to give all that cap space to TT? ending contracts arent worth much this year if Philly cant give away a guy who can score 20 points and has an ending contract. you have to find a team willing to part with a good player and payroll and many teams rolled over quite a bit over the last couple of years. the ending contract is only good at periods of time. a team just doesnt want to take on an extra year of TT at 13MM!!! for the heck of it. They can wait it out and spend the MLE wisely and get just as goos a player for 1/3 of the price.

lets face it, GS really made tremendous mistakes this off-season and that article sounds like a bit of desperation.

they really screwed up by taking foyle over dampier, that ws huge
they really fcd up a promising team over the last 2 years.

also, when you have an 11th pick in the draft--you have to find a way to get that guy on the floor. guys gotta get 10 minutes.

Dale for Timmy.....
where do i sign?

Right now Dale maybe be washed up.......Timmy would actually fill a need over there....Mullin is a idiot so he probably would rather over pay Foyle....wait he already did.

I don't think they chose Foyle over Dampier. From what I read, Dampier made it clear that he would not under any circumstances re-sign with GS. However, I do think they messed up by giving Foyle a big long-term contract and making a ton of other bad decisions.
