Okay, I'll bite. While I don't miss Chris Childs (never was that crazy about him) I think the trade, coming when it did, hurt us last year. I think he helped the Raptors more than Mark Jackson helped the Knicks in the playoffs.
Having said that, I prefer having Jackson going into the future.

I miss Chris and the first round pick we sent to Toronto in the deal.I think that trade is what helped turn toronto around, and not to mention bounce us out of the playoffs

I dont miss the pick....but I do miss Childs....I've been a big Childs fan since he was in Jersey, and although he didnt exactly perform up to my expectations, i feel he was underestimated and the things he did for us went unappreciated.....Hard-nosed defense, clutch shooting and a never-back-down attitude was what he brought to the table, the quintessential Knick, but in the end it was his mouth that did him in.....let's face it people, Chris Childs bumped us out the playoffs
Oh yeah, and he sounds like Nas

His contributions might have been underestimated, but the reason for this was his own doing. The inopportune technicals, constant complaining to the officials took the focus away from his playing.

i'm gettin misty-eyed, son......that was one of my fondest memories of Chris...that and hitting Jordan on the head with the ball....and starting the throat-slit craze after he hit that three to kill Miami
