Clippers just couldn't hold on to the lead against Detroit losing a 99-96 double OT thriller. What a game.

But man! This team will be good. Wilcox is playing like a true stud at C going 24 pts(10-14) 9 REB (6 offensive) and 1 BLK. Brand is playing his usual self, and Maggett, after an awful preseason, is bouncing back strong. He had 25 pts and 19 rebs. They're 2-2 after this loss to Detroit. They're still young, especially Jaric at PG position who could be blamed for the loss with his poor play in the closing seconds. The lack of real PG hurts, but they're playing well overall withour Kaman and Kittles. I'm interested to see how they play with these 2 guys back in the starting line up. I doubt they will be resigning Jaric next summer. If the 6-7 PG Shaun Livingston can prove that he's worth the 4th pick, watch out...

Damn... to think that we could have had Wilcox in a Knick uniform...

Now, unless the Knicks improve their game and play some serious interior defense, I'm gonna say that Clippers' frontcourt will humiliate the Knicks on Friday.

But before that, the Knicks gotta beat the 76ers and get in the groove. Otherwise with the tough West coasr trip coming up, BRIGGS' worst case scenario may come true. Come oooooooonnnnnn, Knicks!!!

I told you guys that Wilcox was the man. He's a freak and he actually has expanded his post game and defense.

Awesome man.....

I'm telling you.....if Craw and Marbs don't torch the Clipps I got the Knicks down for a loss against the Clipps.

yep, that's very likely. during the preseason, i was so excited about the outlook of having a good front-court consisting of improved Nazr, healthy KT & Baker, energetic Junkyard Dog, and our future star Sweetney. I think we all did, and it could happen. I mean Nazr was playing great for a while last yr, and so did Baker before he picked up his bottles. I think what's missing is a leadership that inspires the team, and great coaching. This team needs to put its azz in gear.

The team needs talent. The Clippers have an astounding front court. The Knicks should offer Jamal Crawford for Wilcox. Seriously. Jamal could play the point or the SG for the Clippers, who don't want to build around Kittles and need some sort of experience for Livingston. Wilcox will be bitching about minutes once Kaman comes back. Heck, if they want, expand it to Sweetney and Jamal for Wilcox and Jaric. At least the Knicks would have some young, real talent to build around instead of these flawed fellas.

And, yes, the Knicks will be destroyed by the Clippers on Friday.

crawford for wilcox is a nice deal BUT they will have kittles back soon and with the cap space, they're better off going after redd. so they don't need to make a deal now. imagine wilcox's trade value if he keeps this up.
