I remember back in the day when Childs and Ward used to give AI fits throughout the game. Allen would have his too, but Childs/Ward combo would really get into the 76ers guard.

Yea and then our Forwards would fall asleep and Ratliff would get every offensive rebound in crunch time and we would eventually lose.

Childs and Ward were good defensively when motivated. I remember they did a number on Stephon after he said we will not win a championship with those 2 as our PG's. Also, Childs scored 12 points in the 4th against Minny after their GM said they aren't doing waste disposal in reference to a trade that involved Childs.

i'm with Silver and MaTT. About a 6-point win. It's good to be recovered and back up for the Knicks game isn't it? We're like Charlie Brown going after that football no matter how many times that little witch Lucy yanks it away, aren't we?? I wouldn't have it any other way!!

exactly... the drama that follows is far more painfull than the Knicks actually losing. We can go 6-9 over our first 15 and I will hold to my prediction of winning the Atlantic. We have talent... and 80 more games.

i hate to use the term hard-up becuase i have'nt seen a countdown to an average game in a loooong time, but i guess i am too.
prediction: knicks by 10-14.

I'm psyched. For only the 3rd game of the season there seems to be a lot riding on it, doesn't it? That's okay with me, the buildup and anticipation are always a big part of the high about the game. One more bad performance and I'm afraid Isiah's gonna cut someone - not off the team, with a knife!

Yeah I agree- there's alot of anticipation surrounding the Knicks games so very early in the season.

The team now has to match that fan-felt urgency with their performace. They can start showing that urgency tonight (hopefully).

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
