This must be the first time in forever we haven't taken a Knick to all-star weekend. Oh well, all is not lost. I think Sprewell got snubbed out of this one even though the team was really struggling. If i'm not mistaken, Sprewell and Houston, who are both averaging 20 points or more right now, were averaging below that mark this time last season. Houston was around 18-19 a game and Spree was only at about 17 a game which shows that winning is everything. They're putting up better numbers this season, but are not getting rewarded for it. I still think if Camby had started the season off with a bang and hadn't gotten hurt he would have been the one Knick to make it, but it wasn't meant to be this year. Sprewell, Houston, Camby, and New York just have to show the world that they were far overlooked at the mid-way point of the season.

When the All-Star game was @ MSG they had nobody, but Childs came fairly close.

Ha, I seemed to remember the All-Star game was @ MSG the year before the strike I think, '97 maybe? And I remember they didn't get anybody in the voting but Childs came close as a backup since there weren't many good point guards. I could be mistaken, I didn't start to really follow the Knicks until they went to the Finals. Sorry for the mixup

From what i heard the last time the Knicks didn't have an all-star was when it was just an all-star game and not a complete all-star weekend and that shifted in like the early 80s.
