Well, looks like we are heading for the lottery.

If you think about it this only makes sense. Our best player has been a looser all throughout his career, its been like 8-10 years now, what makes you think he is going to change. Marbury is just one of those guys like Glen Robinson who put up 20pts a game and other great numbers, and get traded 10 times in there career.

The rest of the team is either too old or too young. The older players are just garbage, like TT for example, and the younger are not ready to play winning basketball, not in this loosing atmosphere.

It's time to blow it up and rebuild. Too bad we can't. Houston is stuck with for 2 more years of collecting his paycheck in IL. Anderson is unreadable. I guess trade what you can now, tank for the next 3 years, collect young players, and then once you are under the cap go after a big-time FA. No guarantees, but that would hold more promise then today's disgrace of a team.

Officially of the Iseah bandwagon, his moves have been mostly terrible. Maybe except for drafting Ariza. Even that is just hype now anyways. We gave up way to much for a non franchise player in Marbury. It is now clear that TT and Mohammed are each worse then Doleac and KVH. His biggest accomplishment of getting rid of Spoon brought us Mooch. Pathetic.

And pathetic is what describes this organization, its owner who lets go of the best broadcaster in sports cause he speaks the truth and raises ticket prices every year, its players, and its general manager.

It's been a nice dream we had about this team, we've all been fooled, however I no longer am. Reality bites.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Wow, you think we should rebuild after one horrible game? I'm glad Isiah has a little more patience than you.

Seriously, I know we played like crap last night and didn't even show any effort, but it was ONE GAME! There are still 80 left to play, lets calm down and wait until Tuesday...

It's been 2 games man! I know they were bad last night but gotta have faith that they will bounce back.

Two weeks from now, we are over .500 and two months from we are at the top of the division. 3 months from now we might get ourselves a low post/defensive big guy. Next game is Tuesday. Lets hope Lenny can fix whatever went wrong till tuesday.

The problem is its been the same for years now. I'v seen this all again and again. We start the season like 1-8, then eventually get better, maybe make the playoffs, and getting bounced int the 1st round is the pinnacle of our hopes. I don't know how about you, but I'm tired of convincing myself the Knicks have a chance to win every night. I don't remember the last time I set down to watch a game with an optimistic outlook. If they are playin a good team, they'll loose because the are clearly worse. And then if they are playin a bad team, you alwasy expect a letdown. I was expecting a 15pt blowout against Boston, but even my moderate pecimism was outdone by what really went down. Just same old Knicks, thats what makes it most hopeless. I'm not even mad anymore, just don't have any hope for the team. Too many disapointments for me to still really beleave. I commend you for having more faith then I do, but I'm not gonna lie and say that I agree.

His biggest accomplishment of getting rid of Spoon brought us Mooch.

At this point, I'd rather have Spoon just to grab some rebounds too. Unless and until the Knicks tear it down and just rebuild with some high draft picks, we're going to have to live with a high payroll, perennial playoff team with no real shot at a championship.

the problem is Isiah is not pursuing any tough centers or intense defenders. all he wants are athletes at the guard position. that's why we got burned in the paint yesterday. what would he say in return?

I agree this isnt a good start but a change of coach might give this team a boost.Yes,they should be playing hard anyway but we have seen this too often from Wilkens coached teams, they were complaining about the same thing in Toronto. He has helped by giving the younger players a chance and for that I salute him.But we need to look at bringing in someone who can light a fire under these guys before we start blowing the team up,with one exception TT.

There is also good news in that we still have those expiring contracts coming up.Most of us here were realistic enought to know that they wouldnt come close to being a serious contender this year.If the team needs to be blown up we will have some ammunition next season to do it.In the meantime I want a new coach if things dont improve soon.

Well, looks like we are heading for the lottery.
I didn't know we were playing 3 game seasons now.

This is just a little too dramatic now. It is your right as a fan to be upset with the last loss, but there is still 80 games to be played! Ever think this thread may be a bit hastey?

OMG guys, it was one bad game! We are not getting the number 1 draft pick. No, we will not be a lottery team. How about some patience?

This is just a ridiculous thread.. now marbury is a loser, I swear some of you guys just don't get it.. now you want to blow this team up... OK, lets do that, lets do what Atlanta did... Lets see, the hawks played 2 games so far and they are 0-2 getting smashed both games.... Yea, I would love to endure that for the next 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

Marbury has been a looser for a long time man. Nothing new there. Its just people expected him to turn it around with the Knicks. He also lost the Olympics. He was the starting PG there you know. The fact that the team was not cohesive is his fault more then anybodies.

Hey! I have been one of the most critics of this loss and of this terrible start, and I hate the feeling of last season that this brings up, but we do have 80 games left to solve our problems and be a good team. This game was terrible in any way possible and I hate it, but its not right to call this season a failure. Thinking possitively, of the two games we have played, we have played terrible in only one. What happened last night? Don't know, but if our players are humans, they will feel so embarrassed about last night that will (at least they must) play with more effort, with more passion.

I hate the fact that we are starting a season again at 0-2 with last game completely pathetic, but there is too much basketball left to play! The Knicks will get better!

GO KNICKS!!!

blaming marbury for losing the olympics is just silly. are you trying to say that marbury is so bad that even a coach as great as larry brown and playing with a center as good as duncan wasn't enough to make up for marbury running the point? that's just ridiculous.

but you are right about one thing, he hasn't won yet. he's saying all the right things, and i'm pretty impressed on how's he been playing the past two games, as a pass first pg but unless he wins and does it in the post season, he'll never be labeled a winner.

This is unbelievable, what people will say after one bad loss. There are 80 games left, everyone relax.

Even though your life may suck, try not to project your feelings of despair on the team.
