I just saw this on a website and thought I should pass it along. In the 8 games following Thomas's ejection, he is averaging 18.3 points and 8.4 rebounds. Finally Spree and Houston are getting help scoring and more importantly, Camby getting help on the boards. All the pieces are in place for a winning streak. (I probably just jinxed them and they will wind up losing tonight, ha.)

All the Knicks are playing better. That's why I don't like the trade talk. This team hit bottom and it drew them closer together. Ultimately there will need to be changes to make this team a contender, but I hope it happens in the off-season. Most of the recent trades have only made the salary cap situation worse.

The Knicks now are not so painfull to watch...but one thing that is painfull...Marcus Camby's jump shot. What is going on with that. He has regressed offensively from last season, and for that matter when he was in college.

Camby is in a slump, but i think it will be something he gets out of in time. In a few weeks he'll be killing teams putting up 20 and 20 on any given night. He's done it many times before.

There was a time when Van Gundy would let Camby take the first few shots for the Knicks. I thought that was a good idea; he got Camby some guaranteed shots for which he could be prepared without taking anything away from the Knicks overall game. It's too bad that Chaney has not taken this scheme to heart.

Camby needs to be able to get the ball right around the free-throw line and create his own shot. Not a jump shot, but a drive or something. He is so much quicker than other centers and we need to take advantage of this.
