What your saying I agree with, but I doubt the trade works well for th other team.

Van Exel is a cool brother.....he spends alot of time in NYC. He used to play the Wheelchair classic every year and missed last year because of his injury. Van Exel's role will be to spell Marbs not take his job. Marbs knows that. Isiah would make him aware and this would just make the Knicks more dynamic.

Well they seem to hate Ruben....and they are set to place Miles at the 3 once they can trade Rahim......They will most likely try to move Rahim for Ray Allen or some type of shooting guard.

To me that spells a place for Penny. Penny proves he could still play. The Knicks are going in a different direction right now. Penny brings leadership, post play, defense, and he's a team guy....Van Exel and Penny have similiar contracts.....

Damon Stoudamire is the starter and Sab Telflair is ready to play now rather than sit on the bench.

If they pitch it like that it just might work for them.

we need a shotblocker...now that JCraw is here, we have no need for a NVE any longer...if we're going to be trading w/POR, let it be for Theo Ratliff if anything.

i know, but we don't need to trade for a NVE at this point...that's my only point...look to get a shotblocker if anything.
