Well, we all know now Randle is not a Center or PF, especially on defense.
MitchRob had us the Knicks WIN if he would've last 2 more minutes.
Taj would've had the win

When Randle catches the ball, he either puts up a three, or does some pointless dribbling followed by a lackluster pass.

Randle needs to get in the paint.

I’m not sure what Thibs was thinking going so small with that lineup last 3 minutes

There’s a good player in Fournier but with each game his place in the starting lineup becomes more and more suspect

Fournier is a good shooter and can create his own shot but if he’s on the floor same time as Kemba that’s a defensive Swiss cheese lineup

Thibs will never reduce Randles minutes enough for Obi to continue to grow.

We will live or die with our starting unit because Thibs don't like change.

He can’t. The other team is always in zone

I wouldn’t blame Randle necessarily. Moving him to C - even if Mitch was injured - was puzzling to say the least

I still like the Kemba signing but if he isn’t hitting shots he’s a liability. The Fournier contract is starting to look like an Isiah move

This team is ****ing pathetic. They are headed for the lottery. After they beat Houston I see 9 straight losses. I wonder if Houston would be interested in a swap for John Wall. He only has 1 year left. We might be able to get out of Randle and Fournier

we're not trading Randle. And it would be tough to trade Fournier- dude just signed here as a FA, and sure, he got paid, but that would be cold to do.

The final 4 minute of the game when the Knicks had control of the tempo we were suppose to shoot 2 pt shots .. Not the stupid 3-ball shots .... As soon as Randle entered the game, the Magic put Bamba back into the game, the Knicks had 94-91 lead and the ball .... And flashes of a Knicks loss kept bothering me every second of those 4 min !!!

Yes! I believe Thibs is getting to old for the game, the old Thibs would've put Noah back on the court for those 3 minutes for the win.
Any NBA team having a decent Center, and decent PF inside their game rotation are gonna beat the Orlando Magic (Their program is bad for Bamba growth).

Randle missing shots is one thing. But his poor play is another. Ball is too sticky in his hand and until late in the last two games everything was too slow. Melo flashbacks

He needs to get out of this funk

And maybe if the ball was more sticky with IQ and Rose and we don't turn the ball over twice during then end of what was a 1 point game, we win.
Only legitimate All Star on the team, leading the team in assists, didn't attempt a shot in the 4th quarter, but his whole 3:42 seconds of stickiness meant the game. Yeah, just like Melo.

Check please.

Horrible loss. Simply no excuse for losing at home second time to a tanking team like Orlando. These are the type of losses that severely hurt you in the standings at the end of the season. Right now we are an inconsistent team. I don't think it's a talent problem so now we're left wondering if it's a concentration problem or we're simply not playing well. I do think we have good guys who care and want to win but there has been inconsistent effort this season. It shouldn't take a super man effort by Burks to just be in this game.

Thibs was right in saying we can do better. We've seen it. Especially from Randle and RJ. Right now our top two guys just aren't bringing it offensively. Randle looked distracted last night. He settled for the three and didn't attack (11 shots in 32 minutes). It's like he's trying to fit in too much but we need him to be in attack mode 100% of the time like he was last season. He's not here to be a role player. Randle needs to play like the All-Star he is. I'm confident he'll figure it out.

The turnovers continue to be a big problem (18 last night). Especially in the clutch. Rose and IQ were not good and both committed key turnovers late in the 4th. IQ has that awful pass that led to the Ross dunk and awful defensive effort that led to that Wagner dunk over RJ. And Rose (5 TOs) uncharacteristically throws it away down 4 with under a minute leading to that alley-oop and that sealed the game.

On the bright side we won't have to play Orlando at MSG anymore this season. They just do not play like a tanking team against us. Maybe it's because Cole Anthony and Bamba are from here? They just play extra hard against us.

Obi played really well. He brought energy and gave a huge boost. Mitch played well too. That's all I got. Very disappointing loss but hopefully it's a learning lesson and part of the growing pains.
