This, from the NY Post:
"As far as coaching or management in general, if something comes up, I'd love to listen to anybody at this point," Goukas said. "Now is not the time to be talking about a coaching situation though."

I know that Goukas in that last part of the quote is talking about a particular coaching situlation, but really, this is all very self serving. And does Goukas really think he would get offered a job in New York? I don't think so.

Must be slow NY basketball news day for Marc Berman to have to dig this one up.

I dont know much about Gukas but he coached the Magic when they sucked so i dont think they played much defense, knicks need a good defensive coach and i think they would have a good offense if they had a point guard who can create. Look at Miami ever since strickland has come back they have scored 100 points a few times and score over 90 almost everynight.

I don't know much about this Goukas guy, but i'm willing to at least give Chaney a chance because i do really like him. I don't think there should be coaching talk until the summer.
