he's asking for a buyout...i figured it would be well worth it to sign him if that happened.

One thing is for sure, if the kid is as good as you are all advertising, Isiah will call him immediately. Specially now that we know for sure that we need help up-front. Remember he said that he will do whatever to upgrade the front court.

the bucks also signed marcus fizer. they decided to trade raw athleticism for a more talented player. not what we need to do. lets get haislip, forget about erob and sundov.

Antonio Davis that a good name. thats what this kid could be if polished up right. he's very powerful and weighs closer to 245 than 230 at a legit 6-10. he isnt mentally intense like the davis's-but he is young. Im in FULL agreement that I would like to make this kid our project instead of Sundov. At 23 years old--even if he didnt play much all year--but id be surprised if he didnt get PT at some point because he can play. If we teach him more skills on the box--how to use his length athletsicm and strength--hes got the physical tools to be a player. were talking 6-10 240+ bench presses 425 long arms and a 36 inch vertical leap. he averaged 17 and 7 and 2 blocks his junior league in the very tough SEC. we swiped the wrong Indiana C that kid Prezec is going to be a player for the Bobcats sundov is continually retreaded.

i dont want e-rob. where is he going to play? the only way he plays is if one of Ariza Hardaway or TT sits. im not interested in anything that could hold back Ariza. the only way i can see it if we moved Penny exclusively to back up PG and Robinson was moved to back up SG--

well just to answer my own question and everyone else's---isnt a team with a weak front line willing to guarantee immediate PT like Toronto, Atlanta, the Bobcats? etc..

Our front line is worse than each of those teams.....
Toronto has Carter, Rose, Marshall and Bosh.
Atlanta has Harrington, Walker, Josh Smith, Childress, Drobjnak...
Charlotte has Okafur at PF, Brezec as a project at center who they like, Melvin Ely...

We have KT, Sweetney, and a gaping hole at center...

erob i'm not excited for. unless it means we buy out shandon to make room, i don't see the point. what can he do, teach ariza to jump higher?

hailsip is no lose, though. we need athleticism in the frontcourt. he and sweeteny could play together effectively, so he wouldn't get in the way of mike's development. vin and nazr are not long term solutions, so the sooner we can make them expendable the better.

If Haislip has as much upside as you guys say, why isn't he on a team as we speak? He sounds exactly perfect for the direction Isiah is taking this team to so instead of looking for E-Rob he should be telling Haislip that immediately he signs he will become our starting center .

I want more NY articles talking about the youth movement in NY. I want Crawford, Ariza and Sweetney to have another young friend, one that could become a starting partner in the future. If he is 6'10"+, young, and has no job, please take him to New York. We need the size and the potential.

after watching the Nets/Bulls game tonight, i'd be willing to trade Nazr to the Nets straight up for Zo right now...his impact on the game is still noticeable because he's an intimidator & his shotblocking skills are still there...give the Nets some cap relief & a player they could use & give the Knicks the shotblocker they need to go to the next level...i think both teams would make out, & Zo would probably much prefer playing for the Knicks than the Nets at this point.

He didn't look sick either like he did in Miami and last season.

New Jersey ever since they lost Martin and Kidd is a team I see myself interested in.....it's kind of bugging me out. Dick Jefferson is a bunghole but he has truly been playing his heart out.

Haislip needs to be on the Knicks though......sign Haislip for the minimum because he got waived and has no barganing room.

Buy Shandon out and sign Eddie Rob to a similiar contract......

then try to get Zo by waiving Nazr at them and a draft pick. The Nets could use Nazr at the 4.
