I’d Skip Macri’s self congratulatory comments on his 400th podcast as its a bit long and fast forward to JVG. Good interview and Macri does a good job.

Always a fan of JVG and always conflicted about his place in history. The truth lies in the relatonship of Dave Checketts and james dolan. Checkets was MSG president for 10 years. He as there for Riley, Nelson and JVG, also he fired Grunfeld. Much we don’t know other than most fans perception that owners don’t drive decisions .

This was Jeff at his best. Im not always loving when he pontificates on games to keep it spicy as it seems disingenuous. JVG was always a great interview and it was cool to hear him talk about this team and his time with Knicks. He speaks fondly about it. I’d really like if he wrote a book.
BTW, he compliments Phil Jax!!! Coach PHil. He gets a slight dig in but he doe it from a coach perspective, not as a fan. Very good interview. Maci is a bit in awe but as a fan how can he not be?? Enjoy!
