If it works, I could see SAC and MIN working out a deal centered around Draymond Green. I feel like he'd have great synergy with Russell, Towns and Beasley. MIN could dump the Beverly and Prince contracts and use Jaden McDaniel- talented young forward that impressed last year- as the lure for a rebuilding Kings team.

This might be a trade where everyone says no.

Let's break this down.

Philly does not want Buddy nor Barnes

Warriors likely do not want to ditch Dray for Harris, despite Harris being an upgrade offensively. The intangibles such as defense, IQ and leadership that Dray brings, plus chemistry and fire can not be replaced.

Kings likely do not want to ditch Fox, despite having at least 2 cheaper PGs on the team. Kings likely do not want Wigs, nor Dray.

However, GSW does not want to give up their 3 young players to get Ben Simmons. Kuminga could be better than Simmons in 2 years, let alone Kuminga, Moody AND Wiseman.

Good deal for Philly, they get an amazing PG in Fox, Young Stud Talent in Kuminga and a Young rehab in Bagley who is talented.

This would also have picks getting shifted around, or at least swaps.

I could see a deal roughly centred around Fox to Blazers, Lillard to Sixers, Simmons to Kings, Plus some other pieces/picks.

IF Klay Thompson goes down one more time and into retirement (insureance, some injury cap relief) Warriors need to consider moving 3 3 year old steph. I know its they have a new building but the season tix are already sold and it Dray is also a value trade commodity. You could get Trae and other goodies. I’d stay away from Simmons and PHilly is not stacked with assets.
Steph can paint it he does not want to be on a rebuild, and GSW comes off not the villian. Not throwing steph under the bus, but both walk away neutral. Steph gets to pick were he goes. Kerr finishes the season then he “retires”.
I sense GSW is not really a champonship contender but rebuilding on the fly. Not a bad thing BTW. Solid fan base and a star attraction in Steph. He is 33 and small guards are not all CP3 at age 38. HE also had some injury short years.
Swap for Lillard does not makes sense for either Portland or GSW. Portland needs depth.
Tilt GSW to ATL perhaps? Trae and something for Steph? A lot has to happen for any of this to work but it starts with Klay Thompson unable to finish his contract. Thus, its not even worth debate.

The kings came out today and said they are not trading fox for simmons in any trade, let alone where simmons goes to GSW.

the GSW also said they do not want (or need) both draymond and simmons.

Frankly, everyone is best standing pat here in this deal.

Kings should be afraid of dealing with Morey.
Drama: Not Knicks!

Nightmare when a player does not meet his max salary and is young. Philly has to lower its price.
Whose to blame in Philly? Owner deviated from "process" and by doing so started another. This is pre MOrey. It got them to Conf. Finals. Got them ONE top 5 player in Embiid.
But it fell short. I get the league had to stop Hinkie given the depths they went to but I feel they would have succeeded eventually.
Not on Hinkie: Ben Simmons pick or the Fultz for Tatum swap. That's on Colangelo. Hinkie "resigned" April of 2016.

Not sure what Hinkie would have done.

Morey needs to max Embiid's talent. They got two choices. Trade Embiid and start over or suck it up and trade simmons for Jimmy Butler.
