Staring to see a lot of people trying to put summer league into perspective reminding others not to put too much weight into a pre-pre-season competition made up of mostly scrubs.
But it isn't the competition that's the main reason or the fact they could be nervous, etc. to not read too much into it. It's more because it's only 5-6 games.
You can't read much into it for THAT reason alone, much less due to the competition.
For example, I'll remind you of RJ Barrett's first 5 games in 2020-2021 ... and his first eleven for that matter.
Meant nothing.

Again, nothing.
Sometimes its not that they're rookies or playing against rookies. It's just sometimes players can randomly play goor or poorly for short spurts, just because its a small sample size.
