Really impressive game - like a young Dwight Howard or a mid-20s prime Deandre Jordan.
If the Knicks cleared out for Mitch for an iso post-up, it'll take the opponent center off guard and be a foul waiting to happen. That'll tweak the scouting report on him and open things up a little for guys on the perimeter. Or... if he could take an open 3 every so often. Interestingly, a guy we often compare him to is Mo Bamba (he earned a 2yr/20m deal this off-season). Bamba is not the defensive presence that Mitch nor the explosive alley-top finisher, but he is a legit 3pt shooter (38% last season) and FT shooter. Another path to development for Mitch is to actually shoot a 3 every few games. I think iHart joining the team will increase that possibility - the Knicks will want to run the same types of plays no matter who's on the floor. Mitch tends to crash the boards for offensive rebounds, but mixing it up by staying outside for an open 3 will also open up the floor. “That was two, two from the heart.” - John Starks

Actually they both could and did hit a midrange jumper.
