I don't want to over-react to how people played (of course Tim Thomas sucked), but I do want to question the rotation.
I don't know how much to believe the hype re: Vin Baker (post surgery & all), but I find it odd & discouraging that he got 6 minutes in a game where Prince Nazi wasn't giving us anything.

I understand that you want to see what Baker can do but have you been watching the games lately. He and Nazr have nothing to contribute to this team when they are on the floor.

As bad as Nazr's defense is, Baker's is worst and he's not even a center. At least Nazr is. Why not just forget about both of them and just play Kurt, Sweetney and Jerome for the majority of the minutes.

Baker had a very disappointing pre-season. My hopes were up after hearing that this surgery had turned things around, but I'm skeptical now. I think Isiah has made a lot of good decisions, but I'm not sure whether using most of the MLE on Baker was one of them.

I have to be honest, I have never liked the guy. Maybe its because there were trade rumors about Ewing going to Seattle for him - and I just thought it wasnt an even trade. You cannot trade a legend for a bum and in my eyes Baker has remained a bum ever since. Although I am glad he came cheap to the Knicks - his old salary was Houstonesque (although I have much more respect for H20).
