He's young (28) and can shoot and make plays off the dribble. He's a nice option between RJ and Randle and provides what Burks did last year only more of it. Also making Boston worse is a bonus. He has respect from stars players and just killed them in the Olympics. He would be a good pickup for what this team needs to take another step forward.

I like him in the $18-20M range and think he gets a 3-4 year offer. He is a better version of Bullock/Burks combo.

I see him as too inconsistent a scorer to be happy with his average athleticism and below average defense. I dont see him as moving the needle much more than Bullock or Burkes and he's gonna cost more than either of those guys did last year.

He shot 40% from 3 in his contract year and follow it up with .356, .379 and .340 so literally the minute he got his 5 year deal he spent the first 3 years of it being absolutely average followed by a couple years of better play and oh look its another contract year he's shooting 40% from 3 again.

Pass for me. Plus he once trashed us. Hoping this isnt the guy

As see this as Leon's way if making amends with the Frank hive.

$16-$17M would be my sweet spot. I don't see him being more than $10 M more valuable than Bullock or Burks. Yeah, he's better offensively, buy their better defensively. Also, we crap on Bullock's playoffs, but Evan has consistently been worse in the post season for his entire career

I’d love a 2+1 contract. I have Oubre slightly above him due to upside/age but Fournier is a better known quantity.

You know I gonna spin wit it

What to believe? I trust Ian's beat reporting more than Hollinger's.

Derozan would be much better. Can put the ball on the floor and get you a bucket, gets to the line, gets you assists, boards... he's just a better player

He's a slightly better player but Fournier is a better shooter, younger, and better fit. It's a toss-up to me.

I'm having trouble getting on-board with Oubre because he's not a good shooter. If i'm going to add a below average shooter, i'd prefer one that's still an elite scorer like DeRozan.

what makes Fournier a better fit? He's Burks for twice the money. Look at his game log. He puts up so many games where he's just terrible and you arent getting anything else from him. Derozan gives you 7 assists and rebounds, he gets the line.

Just dive into his #s... he's really not good. He gets hot from downtown. Doesnt create. Doesnt get to the line. Doesnt attack the rim. Doesnt put pressure on the defense, sucks everywhere but from 3...

$18mm for a spot up shooter who doesnt do anything else will be first really lame move this FO has made. Thats your cap space plunge? Thats really lame

I'm not going to be happy if "Evan Fournier" gets damn near $20M as our biggest FA "addition" this guy is a LOSING basketball player. Ugh.

Fournier is not a bad third scorer. Shoots well off screens and on the move. Not just a stationary 3 ball guy. Adds a dimension we lack offensively. I don't love the 18mm price tag though, but supposedly he was turning down 4/80 from Boston?
