38 states reporting 125k+ cases of vaccinated folks aka breakthrough cases.

of those cases, about 1400 deaths.

more people are getting now tested bc of work mandates and school.

i assume alot more vaccinated folks caught it but havent been tested bc they had no symptoms.

so what are we looking at on a macro level...

so less than 0.5% of vaccinated folks caught covid (most likely delta variant).

and of the folks that caught it, less than 2% of them are dying.

basically...the vaccine is working and saving a ton of lives.

what all the stats say...and in the medical field, stats mean everything, vaccination is wildly successful in protecting yourself and the world from covid.

but b/c of the unvaccinated folks, it's tough to get back to normal. so the issue here is how to get people vaccinated. one of the ways to do it is to return to normal for vaccinated folks only.

want to go to a game? sure - prove vaccination.
want to travel? sure - prove vaccination.
want to work at this company? sure - prove vaccination.
want to eat at this restaurant? sure - prove vaccination.

so sporting events CAN have fans as long as these private entities enforce vaccination for entry.

if someone doesn't want to get vaccinated? fine...just understand you can't do stuff you want to. that's the only way this is going to go away. but as long as there are the desantis' of the world, some states are going to continue to suffer.

Briggs, I feel for you. I know your likley compromised by your fragile health and would prefer society had your back. Many of us do. But there are consequences to our actions. We opened things up and the price is being paid.

Fuck big arenas, I’m planning a funeral for my mom and have to contemplate keeping my son from coming, or me next week flying out for a very special family event of joy because so many wanted to see what becomes of those who got vaxxed and perhaps forged some ignorant narrative becuase “its not my problem”. yeah, it is.
And for those who whine about wearing a mask or rant go **** off and die on your own dime. These people are parasites off the health care system even if they pay premiums. If you smoke you pay more. If you don’t show your vaxxed, you should pay more. Talk about others jobbing the system and entitlements yet selfishly won’t take care of your fellow man so you can to to monster truck shows out for a night of partying…………Pay the dam price. I got vaxxed to protect myself and all of humanity. Patriotism is more than flying a flag or ranting against brown people you feel don’t deserve things. Entitlement is not paying the price for democracy, not welfare.

I agree with your message but I’m sick and tired of Newtown shooting deniers, Holocaust deniers, Alternative media suckers, and Q-Non morons who don’t get one thing: We improve our world not by thinking what your entitled to but what my obligations are my fellow man. I don’t care what any stats say— What I heard first hand was scary enough. We’re not even in the first inning again. To many unvaccinated folks and too many vaccinated folks who now think it’s ok to go back to normal. Tgis spreads like wild fire

Well, if you're going to ignore statistical evidence and only listen to scary anecdotes, then of course you're going to spend most of your time ****ting yourself. If that's what you want/need to do, carry, I'm just not sure why you've no interest in the stats.
