Why can’t this guy show up during the season?

In the highlights we can see Fiba Frank aggressive and driving to the basket twice in one game! Is there something wrong with the Knicks spacing that NBA Frank can only drive to the basket once every 5 games or so? If only he plays like that he would have seen the NBA floor atleast 12 mons per game.

I think his best NBA fit is with the Jazz team's ng up with gobert.

Frank I think has the yips when playing in the NBA. He also get hurt at the most inopportune time.

its this. He's got a different role in NBA and the few times he's gotten some momentum he immediately gets hurt and goes down for 6 weeks

Always does get hurt when he starts to make any progress.

He hasn’t been in favor with his coaches which seems strange. He needs to be opposite a scoring guard and just play his role for 20 minutes a night. I think someone like Dallas grabs him and he becomes a good player.

Hopefully he gets a chance someplace.

The problem with Frank is that he’s just not an NBA PG and all of his insecurity stems from that. Had he been treated like a 3&D wing since day one, I sincerely believe he would be above average starter today. Of course he can be a secondary playmaker, but not a primary one.

But the focus, unfortunately, was constantly on “honing his playmaking skills as soon as possible” instead of simply guarding the opponent’s most dangerous backcourt player and scoring open threes and getting under the basket when there is an oportunity. I am sure that in that way he would gain a lot more self-confidence and even in the PG position he would be safer even though it is not his position.

FIBA Frank plays with confidence. Knicks Ntilikina doesn't. Simple as that. Even Clyde on broadcasts talks about the positive impact that confidence has on a players overall game.

It's quite simple. One team allows Frank to play, the other team doubts his ability. Waiting for Bullock to get hot, while being completely outplayed offensively, is a recipe for disaster. This guy plays chest to chest defense, when given the time. It will be sad to see Frank's growth when he's on a team that appreciates his gifts.

Difference is these aren't NBA players that he's going up against.

With that being said...he looks good in these clips

It's Spain. There were several players who are in or played at some point in the NBA. Some of these defensive highlights were against Ricky Rubio. He did it against NBA players. Granted, they weren't the best NBA players, but he still did his thing.

My whole point is that nobody here ever did that and now its too late. The environment is toxic and has been for a while.

I'll say this, when your defensive stopper can't fit the bill, and can't hit the ocean with his shots, it's time to try something different. It's similar to the Starks game against the Rockets. Change of pace please.

Frank shot over 40% from 3 this year. We saw with RJ people can improve at shooting
