![]() Honestly this year's draft is making my head hurt. Too many possibilities and quality players. 3 weeks away.

![]() BRIGGS wrote:Any feedback? Good chance he'll be there at 32 with McBride and Primo and a few others drifting upwards. Definitely not by 58th. Tool set is enticing. There's projectibility all across the board. Skill wise is the troubling issue. He's a horrifically bad decision maker on the court. Against lesser competition, he can get away with it more, but at the NBA level, he'll get cooked. Where he's interesting is his ability/projectibility to consistently create his own shot. That's where scouts will really start to dig deep on this guy. There are elements to him as a natural walking bucket. Someone will project him as a Sixth Man type as a ceiling but he's just not consistent enough for that. The problem with a bad decision maker who can create his own shot is they regularly create bad shots all over the court. As a streak shooter, he'll risk gunning you out of games all by himself. So a guy like Alonzo Trier was a hero ball shotjacker by choice. He knew better than to play that way, but he just didn't give a ****. When I watch Christopher, I don't see that. I don't see the ill intent in his black hole-itis. He appears to truly just not "get it" most of the time. In a perfect world, he would be a better UDFA and you put a guy like this on a two way contract. He won't last that long though and the Knicks aren't probably first on his lists as an unlikely theoretical UDFA. It's like Enders Game. Kid who are winning in the Battle School as Commanders but don't know why they are winning and it terrifies them. Christopher doesn't look like he knows why he's successful when he's producing on the court and he plays like he desperately wants to understand why any of this is happening. He needs a very stable environment and low pressure/low early expectations. Good eye, Briggs. He's interesting in a Go Big Or Go Home kind of way. |

![]() He reminds me a lot of JR Smith. His IQ needs major work though. All in all, wouldn't hate it if the Knicks took a shot.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
