Roko Prkacin SF 6-9 210 #19

Charles Bassey 6-11 245 #21

Feron Hunt SF 6-9 200 #32

Focusing on quality size at the SF and C positions. Three players 6-9 and over. Worked on this for the last two days. I watch what our team needs--whats possibly available with some realism. I like taking one euro out of 3 picks.

Hunt right now is projected to be an UDFA. He's got some interesting upside. At least he has length. I think, at this point, using a 2nd round pick, esp 32, would not be the best path. Pick someone else and hope you can nab him as an UDFA.

Bassey will move before 32 but after 21. I suppose the Knicks can try to trade up or trade back. But this is a strong enough draft where doing that takes away volume and frankly the Knicks need more young guys with upside.

Roko has some glitches that haven't been made public yet. My first tendency is to avoid. I like Bassey if he falls far enough.

I don't think we keep all 3 draft picks I see us flipping atleast 2 to get a veteran player

Roko plays for my hometown Cibona Zagreb (and best of all, his mom went to school with me...I'm really getting old ). He is not NBA SF but PF. The starting comparison would be Dario Saric although Roko is a few inches shorter (but has a better wingspan because Dario has really short arms), but more athletic and agile. He has a good foundation, and it his future will mostly depend on how much he will work on his shooting.

I think he definitely has a future in the NBA, but since he plays the same position as Randle and Toppin, I would say not here.

Yep, do anything (except trading RJ) to trade up. We can get talent to fill the team later. I think this team needs a number 1 and whether the opportunity is or isn’t there, they have to make most of their assets available. Combine picks, include some players but get something significant if possible.

Davion mitchel really only catches my eye 10-30... I’m sure one of these Euro guys might make it big but who knows.

All I see 11-30 is a bunch of flawed players who would not have helped up this series. 11-30 we can find a replacement for bullock/burks and get another future backup center that’s it. Possible high upside with one of the tall euro/Spanish league players.

If we replaced bullock/burks/Noel with young talent it would save us a lot of money to get free agent players. The downside is we may end up a 8th seed or play in team next year.

I’ve looked at all the players this draft

So (one of these options)

1. We are using these picks to replace bullock/burks/Noel

2. We are trading up to around the tenth pick.

3. They believe one of the spanish/league/euro players have high upside

4. Trade our picks for a nba vet in his mid 20s who can help us

One of these options the Knicks will go.

I looked at the second round through 110 prospects.
Hunt has first rd athleticism size body control he plays hard can handle shows three level
Scoring defense. He’s really a great second rd pick type. He can play in westchester and my bet is he would be on the Knicks roster half way through the g league season.

The Euro is a draft and stash. He closely resembles Jeremiah earl robinson but I think he’ll be a better shooter and he’s only 18.

For me the whale is Bassey. He’s automatically in the rotation and can probably be in play for a starting position within two years. Perfect c for thibs plus he has skills out to 3 which our present guys don’t.

Yes bassey is high on the hit list

So 2 picks left who would you go with?

Think we should find a future replacement for bullock.

He can’t dribble!!
( at all ) lol

Not thinking about the 4th pick that will disappear into the night somehow lol

This guy really came on in the pro Croatian leagues end of year. Had a 40-10 game and here nearly a triple double. He’s a pure SF with good handLe passing and rebounding— watch for yourself. How many triple double threat players avail at 19?

58 is a great pick to secure a player that the Knicks would otherwise want to gain the rights of immediately after the draft once that player doesn’t get drafted. Basically a great way to get a 2 way contract player.

I like how they just drop a couple of letters out of his name.

That free throw form is a sight to behold.

He would be an exciting player at 58 got Westchester. Thatll put arses in the seats. See if he can develop into a third C. A guy who gets high % shots by size alone. 15 years ago hes a lottery pick. Today at 58

No way he is getting past 35th pick

Maybe 5 of the guys drafted below 30 will find a nba home for long.

7 ft with long arms that weighs 290 is not a common occurrence no matter what the nba game has evolved to lol

This young man is huge!! Lol

He he is pretty mobile and is showing a 15 foot jump shot most recently.

Trey Murphy's an underrated prospect I hope we consider. Has elite size to play the wing at 6'9 with a 7'1 wingspan and the tools to be an elite defender. Shot 43% from 3 on high volume and has nba range. Sneaky explosiveness around the rim and has shown flashes of being able to create for himself. Solid 3&D player at worst but I'd definitely take him over Knox. Plus he's from Virginia and Tony Bennett's system seems to produce solid wings. Hope he's on the radar.

He is Knox with a motor and defense.

I like what he does but we need a wing for the starting 5 or bench that can create off the dribble more.

No doubt but I still like him with our early second. Gimme Ziaire Williams, Bassey, and this dude. No way we take 3 rookies but if we did I like these 3 to replace Knox, Frank, and Nerlens. Find a pg in free agency but Miles Mcbride is also somebody I like in round 2. Idk just gotta keep upgrading the level of talent...
