![]() I just watched 30 seconds - are all his baskets just dunks off fast breaks? Because our style of play, regrettably, is very very slow. Like the opposite of a fast break, and part of the reason why Obi might not be fit.

I’m looking at the 6-9 ish elite fast twitch athlete who would fill out a prototypical nba 3 position. Through the video yiu catch glimpses of 3 level scoring and a disruptive defender. We don’t really have a true SF and this would be a premium developmental type choice. We can’t put 3 rookies on the squad. 1-2 are headed to westchester. It’s like drafting a guy with a 95 mph fastball who needs to work on his other pitches. But he still has the fastball to start with. He’s not a first rd selection but he does fit a quality second rd pick mold RIP Crushalot😞

We’re just too slow and too small it seems, so hopefully the front office. |

Honestly, this FO makes moves like poker. They sit back and observe the land scape and always add long term potential value first and then fit last (a blessing and a curse). Leave it to thibs as the top chef (with his 1990’s recipes) I haven’t watched 1 clip yet so I might be higher on him after I see 30secs so beware. But I was thinking about our needs and he feels that need for me on paper. But we have Deuce as a solid defending guard. Hope he continues to get mins. We have Mitch and sims and even Noel as bigs or rim defenders. All we needed was that defensive sf/pf junk yard dog type. Sometimes putting a defender next to Obi, helps Obi game. He can leak out more. Or him, Obi and Mitch. That a lot of defense, rebounding and transition opportunities. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

Like the opposite of a fast break, and part of the reason why Obi might not be fit. I agree with the bold. This is after I just watched the clip. He has the sims type agility and above the rim play like sims. Another lob threat who can play 3 positions. Where he’s different from sims is his 3 level potential and handles on those first step moves from the key to the rim. He’s a matchup problem in transition for most bigs. He’s very thin but in today no post up type players anymore, he can be that fast transition PF or tall SF disruptor like Cleveland has with their 3 bigs and Mobley playing SF. I hope we develop him. He’s definitely needed on both ends. Need more easy buckets. And we definitely need more speed at PG to run with these horses we keep adding. Him and sims might be the same height. Add in Randle or Obi and you have three 6’9 ish players on the court. Add in Mitch and cam. That’s a lot of arms. He wasnt even jumping high. And was still way over the rim. Long skinny arms that will most likely get stronger. What is he 22? Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

![]() Briggs - I didn’t realize this was started a year ago and in reference to the fact we just signed this guy. Here is highlights from a game he played against our own westchester Knicks.
I don’t think I saw anything but a dunk or lay up. All the baskets seem to be set up at or near the basket. He seems like he can finish in traffic which is good- but we already have Obi and Mitch that to varying degrees depend on others for their shot. Nice looking athlete. But not sure we are seeing anything other than a end of bench garbage time NBA player. |

My first rd picks have been porous the last few years with a few other bad picks. But I almost always focus on the 2 beers if you watch my posts. Ferin hunt and sims won’t break scoring records but good intangible possible second unit developmental guys. And sometimes those guys can be highly valuable. RIP Crushalot😞
