I can’t say enough about him. He was hurt last night and went 26-5-4 in 38 minutes. In some ways Rose is just as valuable as Randle to this team. We DID NOT start winning this season until rose came back.and we easily lose last night without him

Knicks played well when rose was out with Covid but Rose is absolutely essential to a team in the playoffs. You just trust him to raise his level of play when needed these days.

At some point Thibs is going to have to let Frank play off the bench. Rose can’t handle 38 minutes per game and Elfrid is going to end our season if he continues to start

Yeah, I think it's time to give Frank his shot. Between Payton's poor play and Frank's continuous support of his teammates on the bench in spite of not playing, I would like to see him get his chance. I know it's been brought up before, but has anyone ever seen Payton cheer on his teammates when he's not on the floor?

No bigger Frank fan then me but playoffs not the time to “give him a shot”. I assume there is a contingency plan if elf got hurt rendering him unavailable. His lack of playing well and reduced minutes are similar in concept. They guy is not getting it done. I think Burks, RJ and Iq will continue to eat minutes but there is a situation where he could play more. Somebody will tweet an injury and he will play.

For the record Rivers started for the Nuggets last night in a win over the Blazers. Had 21 points, 5 of 10 from 3. He might be to the Nugs as Rose is to us!

As for Rose, I’ve copped to it before, but I did not like bringing him here this second time after his first run here. Although not super upset because of what we gave up. Anyway, we were playing better before his arrival, but he is the difference between us being in the play in vs being the 4th seed with a chance to advance.

This version of Rose is an incredibly efficient player. Its unbelievable how well he has adapted to his new normal...creative finshing, strong mid range, hitting 3s, low turnovers. We only have a few guys that can get their own shot - we'd be lost without Rose.

I understand it's late to experiment with lineups. But it's clear to everybody, Rose is a better fit in the starting lineup. He upgrades Bullock and Randles play. Frank would be great with the 2nd unit. He allows IQ to do what he do. Frank is a good open 3pt shooter....better than Payton right now.

Iq/Frank backcourt is not ready unless iq is on that night. If he is not our wing needs to be a serious contributor.

When iq is not having a good game our second unit will look a mess. Rose hides iq bad days. Iq needs to work on being a betttwr floor general this off-season and attacking the basket.


I realize he is a combo guard. He needs to be a better “combo guard”

Just improvements over the summer on a few areas

If Luca pans out, I can see a Luca/iq back court next season.

Or it could be rose and iq again with Luca starting or they grab another cg in free agency or the draft

If the stink of DSJ is still here I seriously we doubt we get the 4th seed. We probably finish somewhere 9-10th seed if we’re lucky

Rose has adjusted his game on offense. But his defense has been ass his age shows more in defense than offense. He is good player at this stage of his career and can be an excellent 25 minute guy off the bench. He isn’t starting material.

I can’t disagree with you more . I’ve been impressed with his defense since playing for thibs compared to his first time with the Knicks when he played absolute dog sh it defense…

Is rose a Frank on defense hell no but his effort is there has come up with some big steals since being here and looks like he’s playing his ass off on defense.

As much as everyone loves Rose his defense is not even mediocre now. He can’t fight through screens and has no lateral quickness on D


I’d bring him back on a one year $6-7 million deal just to be a Sixth Man that’s it
