I love it !! Very fair and deserving. All the stories about hard work, getting to the gym right off the plane and following Kobe's relentless honing of his craft. Those are not just empty words. I am ready to roll with Randle, I want to extend him to a contract. I want his work ethic to rob off on the rest of the team. I want him to retire as a Knick.

I think other players will note his arc and hopefully look at NY as a place to grow. We have a lot of guys looking a lot better than they did last year. That is HUGE imo

It is. Its also important that at some point if we go after a player this because our staff believes in the ability for him to grow. Not all players will be welcome nor will we have to bait with money. Its still important. The league often knows he guys that work hard and the ones that are content to go sideways (still hard work BTW!). Fans are harsh to label guys with “low motor” and barley leave the couch to get a fresh bag of Cheetos without rolling our eyes at the inconvenience.
Building blocks left behind. LIke Scott Perry perhaps the last 5 years of Phil, Mills, and into Leon there exists a layers that get improved by each. That we went 10games up to finish the season is a big credit to this franchise and the FO. A lot changed in a short time. Credit to “KNICKS” and how ever we got here. We had players from past eras that all come together and had a great season lead by Randle. Its a good story no matter how you write it. what happens on the court is the proof! We are all happy for Randle!
