I’m concerned that someone gotta stay in front of Trae Young. Trae Young has feasted on NY PGs for quite a bit. Focus isn't likely to be slowing Trae down so much as forcing him toward Noel while still protecting the perimeter. Keep him off the FT line.

I’m concerned that Danilo Galinari wants to prove a point. Our game plan probably should be to make Gallo beat us. Still love Gallo. He's been turning the ball over with a much higher clip this year. I think thats the key to guarding Trae in that pick and roll. You need a big enough guard (Burk or RJ) who can switch and box out Clint Capela on those lob passes. Clint is not a typicalpost up big, so RJ can guard him in short burst on those pick and rolls...instead of chasing Trae from behind and forcing our center to guard two players, or get stuck on Trae back for an and 1 bucket.
