Curious as this game has no implications for Celtics. They in playin regardless. Might rest their guys?
Do we? Thibs likely wants these guys on the court to put their heels in their throats and get them to have a visceral feeling of domination and conquest. Its part of winning. I hope we stay on them. Knicks get a few days rest. So will ATL, Miami or Bucks.
Truth is as much as I want ATL for obvious reasons Miami might be more fragile and if our parameter defense is that good we shut down that Herro/Robinson thing and win our series. Jimmy Butler vs. RJ would be cool. TIme for RJ to get schooled then rise up and exceed the teacher!!!

But until then lets get some lucky charms and finish Boston today and get the 4th seed. Teams should fear us.

Celtics injury report was released for the game. Tatum will be out. Essentially, the Celtics top 7 players are out for the game. I hope the knicks wont be too complacent and not take this team seriously. The knicks caught a break, please knicks, capitalize on this! Lets get 1 more win to end the regular season!

I don't think so. I think it's win and we are the #4 slot no matter what the Hawks do.

Im sure the Hawks prefer the Knicks to the Bucks. What a great season. I can't believe we are a win away from hosting a first round playoff series.

Nah-uh..

If the Knicks win the Hawks (5) and Heat (6) are locked into their seeds, whatever the outcomes of their games.

Only thing of interest to the Knick is the who the potential 8th seed winds up being as they'll be in the 1-8/4-5 second round bracket.

I’m not so sure. Many articles say that if Atlanta wins they get the 4th as a division winner. If that’s not the case, awesome as I know we have the tiebreaker, but many articles give more weight to the division win.

Division winner comes into play on a 3 way tie, which is only in play if both Hawks and Knicks lose today and Heat win. For a 2 way tie it's head to head as first tie breaker. We control our own destiny.

That's negated by the fact that we lost the season series to the Heat, who in turn lost the season series to the Hawks.
