I haven't heard or read one single rumour linking the knicks to any player on Minny. I also have a hard time believing the FO will trade 1st rnd picks for potential talent, they want a sure star. I could see a OBI for Reid possibly ES

If we can pick up a two way center — a guy e we ho can play 28-32 min and can get 13-8-2-2– we’ll improve We have a need for a ring slasher who can score 3 levels. I think boughknight can be had if we use Robinson in a package to move up. We don’t need 3 more rookies Then the team can be conservative yet opportunistic with cap space Sign Derrick rose sign Noel sign bullock sign Burks Then figure out an upgrade at pg. that could be Dragic? A 1 year guy with rose? RIP Crushalot😞

![]() Dragic is 34 and they are preserving him well in Miami. Perhaps if DRose gets monetarily greedy and we don’t bring him back?
We only have Vildoza signed as PG for next year!! There is a lot of ways we can go here. Somewhere Thibs and Bryant have their little secrets. I don’t love IQ as a PG quite yet as a starter. He is a crafty penetrater but his in lane passing is not quite there yet. As for Halliburton regret, the kid is an awful defender. Could be that he was on an awful defending team. But his Defense likely would not have cut for Thibs. Back to the future...........Frank is not a PG. Call him a combo wing perhaps who can bring the ball up. They all can bring the ball up. Jokic brings the ball up. IQ greatest value is as a rookie is he stretches the interior with his range. I like this kid a lot but I won’t label him quite yet. |

![]() Knicks and Randle will reportedly not wait for the summer of 2022 to extend his contract, but will guarantee him $ 19.8M for next season, according to the current contract, and then they will immediately agree on an extension for another 4 years for the maximum amount they can give him, and that’s $ 106M in this case. If they waited for the summer of 2022, Randle could get a much bigger contract of course (over $ 200M in 5 years), but he also reportedly wants security as soon as possible.
In other words, that would mean we have him for the next 5 years for a total of $ 140M (with incentives included) and I would say it’s really more than team friendly for his production this season. |

I have not read that I would say that these thing make sense - stability for Randle and NY would claw back some cap space for 2022 based on Randle's cap hold - but I don't think they are set in stone as you imply Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

It’s on the first page of RealGM so I don’t know how reliable it is, but as you say, it definitely makes sense. |

I'm sorry, this of mine sounded like an agreement had already been reached? I didn’t want to say that. Rumors say it’s such a plan. I don’t think you can even do that at this point but only after the season. |

I would never read RealGM articles like this without also reading the underlying article or articles it's based on. RealGM is reinterpreting an article that is most likey based on something else. And realistically it's some intern or outsourced to Asia writer that doesn't really get it right. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program
