Seriously, just cut or bench Payton. He really offers nothing to the team, a turnover machine who can't score and defense isn't so great. What positive does he offer?

That is a 35 pt turnaround between the PGs. The ONLY Knick with a - day, 4 TOs. I will take Frank or Theo or Harper, even bring up Powell just to see Payton go away. Yes, the second unit is killing it. But the Knicks deficit or cut into lead usually happens when Elfrid is on the court.

During the Knicks current 9-game winning streak(8 of those games credit to Beers stats):
*The Knicks have outscored their opponents by 101 points with Immanuel Quickley on the court.
*The Knicks have outscored their opponents by 65 points with Derrick Rose on the court.
*The Knicks have been outscored by their opponents by 12 points with Elf Payton on the court.

77 point difference between Rose & Payton.
113 point difference between Payton and Quickley.

And Payton was -8 to Rose +6 on our last lost game against the Celtics by 2 points or it could have been 10 in a row right now. The Suns will be a huge test for this team.

This is why you see them fighting for most wins instead of winning with ease, which would give Julius, RJ, and other starters more rest time.
