Free agents to pursue and players to buy out on team right now who haven't had enough PT, but have some upside:

Waive Norris. Buy out Shandon. Waive Sundov. (sorry fans)

Get:
Nick Sheppard(C)Born: 28 yrs. old Height: 6-11 Weight:270 lbs
Can play both PF and C. Is a big man.
Ernest Brown(C)Born: 25 yrs. old Height: 7-0 Weight: 244 lbs.
Even though he's often injury prone, he's athletic and has good rebounding skills.
Ken Johnson(C)Born: 26 yrs. old Height: 6-10 Weight: 240lbs
Shot blocker and plays D. doesn't look for O game all the time. Knicks should use him.
Lonnie Jones(C)25 yrs. old Height: 7-0 Weight: 228
Will probably get eaten up by big men like Shaq, but he's long and athletic and a shot blocker like a Dalembert. Just needs to gain weight.
James Lang: 6-10 305 21 yrs. old. Young and overweight, but Aguirre can help him lose a bunch. Good rebounder and has a center body. Like a big Sweetney. And only 21
Chris Marcus 7-0 300 lbs 25 yrs. old. Would be great against Shaq and that's it. If Aguirre and staff work on him, they could make him a decent bench player in NBA
Vonteego Cummings(PG) 6-3 190 28 yrs. old. These are his prime yrs. tireless defender
leon smith (pf) 6-10 235 24 yrs. old why not?

I'm sure Isiah was looking at these guys when he decided Bruno Sundov would be a better 15th man on the roster.

I'm against buying out any contract or waiving any player whose contract could be a valuable trade asset in the final year

it's all junk. even james lang is junk if he stays fat. you have to be in shape to play in this league. james lang at 21 years old now has ALL year to get himself into shape and follow the rules set for him. he doesnt want to do it, go work at McDs for 7.00$

i didnt see 29 other teams rushing to grab those guys so i think im on to something:>) lonnie jones was a guy who id thought we should take a look at in our own training camp. if he didnt make the bucks he isnt going to make the knicks:>)

id be willing to grab james lang if he weighed 275 but really he weighs 330+++ its just recycled junk.
