Isiah's certainly good at spin. (I say that as a compliment; it's a good skill to have.)

Coach Lenny Wilkens celebrated his 67th birthday yesterday. Phil Jackson, the former Lakers coach, said he would listen if the Knicks wanted to talk, and Isiah Thomas, the Knicks' president, does not mind a bit. "We have a Hall of Fame coach that's here now," Thomas said, "and from what I've heard and read, there's another Hall of Fame coach that likes the direction we're going."

the last time ny tried to entertain such thoughts pj talks was leaked with beetle juice staying producing interplanetary chaos. the luna alignment has already produced a bosox victory breaking the 1918 jinx. i hope knicks, fans as well, dont have that kind of wait.
"Like they always say, New York is the Mecca of basketball,"I read that in Michael Jordan books my whole life and I played here in the Big East tournament, so it's always fun to play in the Mecca of basketball."---Rip Hamilton
