I apologize for posting this out of the prospects column but The C abd Pg from Illinois imho added to the core of barrett Quickley Randle Burks will make us immediate contenders. The C looks like a Shaq and the pg is a 6-5 version of Quickley. Added together with one or two vet moves and we have the making of a great team.

Also yes I added in Burks and I’m still with Robinson— I want to keep Burks on a 3 year contract but Robinson only if he is a decent price. Can’t pay 20 mm a year to him.

Cockburn 7’0 285. I only watched the highlights but he didn’t seem as mobile as Shaw and seemed to get moved off the block pretty easily. Could be playing himself into better shape. He certainly looks big.

Dosonmu looked like he had a decent handle but not superior athleticism.

Won’t make a lot of statements based on 3 mins of highlight reel. Worth keeping an eye on Cockburn based on his size alone. Not sure

I like Ayo's versatility in the backcourt. He might sneak into the low lottery. I dont think Cockburn makes sense with any of the Knicks projected first-rounders. We'll see.

Kofi is a F monster. Gotta watch the game not highlights--hes unique. The PG is way up there too. Not top 5 pick but talent to be great--one of those guys picked 16-19 who ends up great

I've seen both play a number of times. Like them both on Offense but not always sure about their effort/dedication on D. Kofi is a monster but kind of foot slow and needs to develop and outside shot. Neither is bad for mid-late 1st rounders.

Watching these guys now. Great draft picks — would be great to get them both. Ayo is a difference maker at pg

Brad Underwood is a terrific defensive coach...he's from the Bob Huggins, Frank Martin coaching tree. I'm pretty sure he kids are well-schooled on defensive principles. Agreed on Kofi, though. He will struggle defending on the perimeter.

I know it’s an older video but based on that, Cockhurt looked like he gets good post position, which makes him tough to guard. Unfortunately, he also looks slow as molasses.

You have to construct your team around him. You won't be able to switch on defense. Offensivly he is tough to deal with. He sets up so close to the basket. Not many centers in the NBA could stop him. Free throw shooting isn't great but passable in the high 60's

I was talking about defense… and the FT stuff would have to improve, just as RJ must improve.

I don’t think Randle will be here after next week so we don’t have to worry about his FT shooting.
