I'm still assuming our pick lands in the 8-12 range and the Dallas pick lands in the 14-18 range.

With our own pick draft Corey Kispert. He's not a big upside guy but he addresses a need that we would have to overpay for otherwise. Look at guys like Joe Harris and Davis Bertans. You can't get shooters like Kispert without paying 15-20 mil a year.

Sign Derrick Rose to a bloated 1-year deal. I'm not a fan of Rose at all, and obviously things didn't work out with him before, but under Thibs I think is the one exception for being in favor of bringing him in (as long as it's for free as a free agent). It allows us to start Quickley as his shooting is badly needed alongside the starters, and replace his shooting/playmaking off the bench with Rose, who fits that role well these days.

I'll also resign Burks and start him, and use the second first round pick for a developmental PG or wing, depending on who's available.
