good call

FWIW i watch the game livestream so i don't know if i get the same team promotional content shown locally in nY. But the stuff i get includes Iggy when they do those player pictures and i'm glad they do. He has a chance of sticking and contributing at some point

They asked him, Frank replied "You Americans with your G-league, and your Warby Parker glasses"

Kidding aside, its a good question. If Frank declined, I see a trade in his future. Dont know why either. Trey Burke asked to go to G-league and it helped revive his career.

Right now is a perfect time for him to go to G-League. All the young players who aren't playing much like Frank, Knox, Obi should probably all go right now. Could be a good way to start establishing that developmental pipeline. Which they seem to be planning on using in the near future with the accumulation of 2nd round picks and high school prospects set to be eligible.

He'll be on someones G league team next training camp, or he'll be back overseas.

The only way he's getting PT is if Peyton gets injured, so he prefers to just sit on the bench and collect a check in a contract yr...smh.

Dude is tripping, why not just request a trade, because clearly Thibs (a defensive coach) is not high on him.

What your hoping for anyway.

He may have very well already went to management and requested a trade. But is doing the right thing by not keeping it public.

Or Thibs and management have assured him they will have a role for him and to be patient.

Who knows, either way none of it matters. We will know what’s up when he’s on a new team. If he fizzles out of the league then it’s justified. If he goes on to be productive on a new team then it’s not a good look for the org.

Two points:
If the Knicks think Obi and Knox would benefit from some regular playing time... sure. Then bring them back. I'm still blown away how Knox, after some incredible games as a rookie, looks so out of place on the floor.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-rookie-power-rankings-kings-skal-labissiere-showing-plenty-of-upside/
On another note (and on the topic of great rookie performances): I'm interested to see how Skal Labissiere does in a nurturing environment. Former 5 star recruit from UK.

Check out this write up from March 2017 as a rookie:

Labissiere broke out Wednesday with a 32-point, 11-rebound performance in a win over the Phoenix Suns, shooting 11 for 15 from the field and 9 for 11 from the line. There were plenty of positive signs before that, though -- he had four blocks against the Magic on Monday, eclipsing his previous career high of one and showing that he has tons of upside on both ends. It appears Sacramento is going to try to get him lots of minutes next to Willie Cauley-Stein before the end of the season. That should be the team’s starting front court of the future, as long as they are given the opportunity to develop properly.

Its a one month Bubble league. He was playing quite well before he got injured.
Its a wonder you can’t fathom any of this. You may not agree with it.
what might be good for Dennis might not be good for Frank.
Frank plays good/near elite NBA defense. Dennis has not yet excelled at what his coach might deem as the his weakest asset.
One might say frank is next off the bench were Dennis and Harper are behind him on the depth chart.
I’m not saying any of this is gospel, buts one need not “Wonder” as if its some alien concept conceived from fictional delusion manufactured from hallucinating from snorting round tusks from a unicorn.

Frank might be overseas next season, or in the GLeague or on another NBA roster.
HE might even be returning here. You never know. “Wonders” never cease to amaze!
Yes, he will have many threads depicting his continued disappointment or envious success.
