To all the haters, it seems to me that Dampier is posting numbers that we truly are lacking from our frontline so far. It is too bad that Isiah didn't have the assets necessary to acquire this dude.

He's a good player who would have put the Knicks over the top. We'll have until the Knicks have more trade assets over the next two years to wait to get a solid C .

I sure hope that somebody will surface from our roster to produce the mumbers that Damp is producing.

Haters? Whats that, anyone with a different view?

We tried to get damp, but some people would prefer we try a different route.

Our opinions don't matter, and certainly not to Chris Mullin.

Damp had one good game and your all about the Damp Love? Do we need to call you out everytime he has a bad game? OR gets injured?

That would be silly and petty.

it seems to me you've forgotten the whole reason why people were reluctant about trading for this guy to begin with.

is that worth $10 mil a year? i leave that up to you but forget about him. we wined and dined but he got a deal from a DESPERATE owner. even isiah wasn't willing to give him that much and we could've.

yeah- lets wait a little bit until maybe the all star break- then lets look at his numbers.

And then your going to have to wait 3-4 years and do it again.

I wasn't impressed with what he had done in his career up til last year.

And, the contract amount and length of committment were, in my opinion, too much and too long for what is a gamble on talent.

No, I am not arguing that we should have given him that big contract, because in my opinion, no player other than KG, Shaq, and a handfull of other players deserve that type of pay.

yup, a lot of people who said he only played for a contract last year is going t feel really stupid. i have a lot of friends who I went on countless arguments about that

He is on a team that actually has a winning attitude - of course its going to change his game. The guy was a gamble regardless - we didnt get him. Lets all move on. The Knicks have a bright future and who knows what pieces will be in place over the next year or so.

I just hope that Vinny and Naser can produce 20/14rbs PER GAME THIS SEASON. We don't need much from them, they just have to be physical in the paint.

Nazr is clearing wilting under the pressure- he had spurts last year- he just needs to relax

Exactly, this reminds me of some distorted political ad.

The problem with Dampier is that his contract is too large given his age and inconsistent career.

Agreed. We would have had so many people complaining about over paying him, and for a 30 year old - 7yr 72 mil, I'd have to agree.
