Hi all - this thread was started here http://www.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=5813 a while back but I wanted to start a fresh track.

I am definitely going to show up and would like to meet as many posters that drop by this site as possible. Hopefully it will be a good time. Details for the place are here: parkavenuecountryclub.com. I will probably stop by about 30 minutes before tip-off.

So, who is down for a little Knicks action?

MS, can you rope us off a good corner spot with a good TV view? Any word on the Knicks City Dancers? Beer specials?

I'll check everyone out in a week. Oh, by the way, I wear dark rimmed glasses and will have a black baseball cap on that has a maroon rim. Beer will be in hand.

I will defenitly be there and can't wait to meet you all! Especially BRIGGS and to talk about his wise wisdom on the Knicks.

Seriously, I am very excited to meet you all. Shall be a good time. I will be wearing etnie sneakers, long tight jeans, a black shirt with a Knicks Jersey over it, and a long black jacket. I am caucasian by the way. Not like it matters, ha.

lol...sorry, just something about that "long tight jeans" part that was funny to me.

instead of describing what you guys will be wearing that night, how about having some nametags at the entrance to the section where you all be sitting at, & filling out your screennames on it when you get there? just a thought...having 1 of those Knick City Dancers there to greet you would be nice too.

Sorry I didn't have time to respond earlier. Apparently the Knicks City Dancers don't return calls or faxes, we tried to extend the invitation but no answer. There ugly anyway

As far as next week goes I will arrange it over the weekend and get back to everyone, on Monday, with the details. Going to the game tonight, lets hope for a little cohesion out there.

Let's get NBC or FOX to come down and do coverage on the opener at this place, and maybe we can, as fans, get interviewed and talk about how much we hate Dolan, love the rookies, and say what we think the problems are. Can someone get in touch with them and tell them it's going to be packed with Knicks fans....? A certain group of online peeps who never met each other and are uniting on opening night to catch the team they love. I think it would be pretty cool.

I'm hoping hoping hoping to be there - just have some crazy work and home things going on right now so can't totally guarantee. Btw, I'll be instantly recognizable by my 7'5" wingspan.
