sucks for all those people without cable.
The NBA Shoots A Brick by Davide Dukcevich, Forbes.com By accepting a $4.6 billion deal to broadcast all but a handful of games on cable television stations, the National Basketball Association is losing the broad appeal that made it the hottest pro sport of the 1990s.... ...Under the new deal, only 15 regular season games, five playoff games and the championship series will be televised on mainstream, national television network ABC. This is in contrast to the NBA's current broadcast deal with NBC, which airs about 33 regular season games, 30 playoff contests, the finals and the All-Star game.
