Where's Crawford?

I think they wanted a different defensive look for Mercer.

Sweetney had some great moves. The quick reverse layup and the Ewing-esque post up/fade away shot!

Saw them both and they were both VERY nice. Next year Sweets will have a Zach Randolph breakout year.

Why don't the Knicks run more isolation plays for Sweetney?

man, i've been saying that all along. give this guy the rock and he'll either take a very high percentage shot or he'll get to the line. he's the only guy on the knicks that can do that. we have our post player already, let's use him. look at the 4th quarter. he went to the line EVERY TIME he got the ball b/c nobody could match his strength.

but i will say this, they did make a concerted effort to go to him the entire 4th quarter and i think they'll be some games like that this year. he's exuding all this confidence and i give credit to the coaching staff for that.

ariza needs to find a J but i'm not worried about him at all. he's 19 and he's awesome for what he is.

Looks like Ariza will be an exciting part of the team this year--- whether me makes his jumpers or not, he makes things happen on the floor. On days when his shot is falling, he'll be a weapon.

Sweetney's box score is awesome. 1-2 from the field, 12 free throw attempts! :) What he did to Jacques Vaughn when he got in Sweetney's path was just wrong on so many levels. Is Sweetney bigger than Mason? He has more leaping ability, but not even close to the ball handling of LJ or Mase. He plays like a true big man.

I really have no idea how Lenny is going to distribute the minutes around when the regular season rolls around.

Brewer really isn't much of a factor on offense--- he just dribbles the ball up--- much like a Howard Eisley. Nothing happens when the ball is in his hands. Moochie runs the offense quite well--- and while he's really small, he's willing to take charges.

Cant believe how many minutes they are giving Ariza!I wonder if this will continue when the season starts. From the box scores it looks like he has a problem with turnovers but I suppose that is to be expected for a rookie who didnt play much college ball.Im also wondering if Isiah is thinking of trading TT?
