Are there any other players taken in the 2nd rd that look like they could be steals like Ariza? Do their teams have their Bird rights? I'd love to re-sign Ariza and steal a player like Ariza from another team because that team didn't have his Bird rights.

there are a lot of 2nd round rookies who not only played well, but well enough to make it on to their teams core rotation in fact there are 2 undrafted rookies Damien Wilkins + Arthur Johnson who are locks for 2 year contracts. Damien Wilkins[who is geralds son] will DEINITELY be in Seattle's rotation. Johnson has to many guys ahead of him in Denver, but they are signing him to a 2 year deal to be the 15th spot.

A guy we should keep an eye on is pape sow from cal ful who played with the raptors. hes 6-10 235 with long arms and good skills-they just dont have any spots in toronto also keep an eye on memphis because they have to dump 3 roster spots

also FW might be released but he is said to be out of shape.

Thanks for the info. Briggs!

One thing I realized about Ariza is that if the Knicks can re-sign him this summer to a 2 year LLE deal (you're not allowed to give more than 2 years for an LLE deal), they would have his Bird rights because already had him for this one year too. So, we could keep him in the organization without using any of the MLE. But if he gets a lot of minutes and plays very well, some team might offer him more money.
