How long will chaney last???

a) 1 more week
b) till the all-star break
c) Will be fired sometime in the 2nd half of the season
d) The entire season

Yeah, I have actually been thinking about this recently. Does it make sense for NBA's brass to create an East coast-West coast rivalry in big markets? Does the NBA need to create a big presence East Coast team (the Lakers already own the west)? Should they guide one of the lottery balls towards a NY #1 pick to pump up TV ratings, etc?

Yes, yes and yes. Let's hope a conspiracy theory works in NY's favor, ala Ewing in the 80's. Man, we need it.
