I like where we are as a team for now. Of course, everyone knows we need to upgrade our C position. If Nazr and Baker can continue to get more and more comfortable with the system and their respective roles with in the system we'll be ok there. Not dominate.....be ok. I think that this team has the potential to be a very cohesive until. It's just that we're going to have some growing pains. We have to recieve a few blowouts and close loses in order to build our character as a unit.

Tonight, during the game, Mike Breen brought up an interesting point. Their are 100 different players on new teams this season. Just like us, a whole bunch of teams are going to go through growing pains. Some of the teams who are playing horribly right now are NOT as bad as they seem. Then there are other teams who look incredible but it won't last all season long. Of course we have a few people on this board who has looked at preseason play and are ready to go for the standings at the end of the season already. That's insane. Some may remember that a few years ago, the Cavs won their first 9 or 10 games without a loss. That team had Andre Miller (in his second year) and people like Clearance Weatherspoon....I forget who else was on the roster. But early in the season everyone was talking about how those guys didn't have a superstar but they were a hard working team that will get wins. That team ended up having one of the worst records that season, of course missing the playoffs.

I think these Knicks have lots of potential. How many games will they win? I don't know. But before the season is over I bet these guys earn some respect from those who have counted them out based on the 3 PRESEASON loses

We'll see.
